Upon your arrival at the airports in Split, Dubrovnik, or Sarajevo, your driver will be there to greet you warmly. Embark on your extraordinary journey with a stunning 2.5-hour drive, showcasing breathtaking scenery and captivating local highlights. As you enter the charming village of Medjugorje, a sense of warm hospitality and comfort awaits. After settling into your hotel, enjoy a delightful welcome dinner, followed by a restful night in Medjugorje.
After breakfast, start your pilgrimage with a guided tour led by a certified guide from the church. This will be an introduction and orientation to the area. At 10:00 AM, join the daily Mass at St. James Church, where the beautiful hymns and a moving sermon will uplift you.
Post Mass, you’ll have the chance to listen to local priests and visionaries. In the afternoon, spend quiet time in the adoration chapel, connecting deeply with your faith. At 2:00 PM, walk the Way of the Cross on Cross Mountain for reflection.
In the evening at 5:00 PM, participate in the Rosary and then attend another meaningful Mass. You can also have your keepsakes blessed.
During your stay, there are many spiritual activities:
– Daily 10:00 AM Mass at St. James Church (noon on Sunday).
– Walk up Apparition Hill, praying the Rosary.
– Climb Mt. Krizevac (Cross Mountain), reflecting on Jesus’ passion and death.
– Join the Rosary at 5:40 PM and witness Our Lady’s apparition to visionaries.
– Experience Adoration on Tuesday and Saturday, and veneration on Friday.
– If possible, meet with visionaries.
– Visit the Community of Cenacolo and hear inspiring recovery stories.
– Pray at the Statue of the Risen Christ at St. James Church.
After breakfast and your final Holy Mass at 10:00 AM in Medjugorje, start your Herzegovina tour with a fun wine tasting at a top winery. Next, visit the beautiful Kravica Waterfall, famous for its stunning waters and greenery, perfect for quiet thought. Then, visit Pocitelj, a UNESCO-listed village with old Ottoman buildings like a fortress and mosque. Enjoy great views of the Neretva River there. Your next stop is Buna Spring, known for its strong flow and home to the Blagaj Tekke, a peaceful Dervish monastery. Finish your day in Mostar, checking into your hotel. In the evening, take a night tour to see Mostar’s history. See the famous Stari Most bridge, explore the Old Bazaar, and enjoy the city’s rich culture. This day offers a mix of spiritual, natural, and cultural experiences.
After breakfast and hotel checkout, start with a guided tour of Mostar. See the famous Old Bridge and explore the Old Bazaar. Watch divers jump from the bridge into the Neretva River. Next, visit the Jablanica Museum to learn about local history, including the World War II Battle of Neretva. Then head to Konjic to see the Old Stone Bridge.
In Sarajevo, relax in the Bosnia Spring Park. After checking into your hotel, ride the Sarajevo Cable Car for amazing city views. End your day with a night tour of Sarajevo, exploring its history and enjoying a great dinner.
After breakfast and checking out of your hotel, enjoy a day tour of Sarajevo. Visit Bascarsije, Sarajevo’s old Ottoman center, see the historic city fountain, check out the Cathedral of Jesus’ Sacred Heart, and stop at the Eternal Flame war memorial. Learn about each place’s importance. If time allows, soak in Sarajevo’s culture before your driver takes you to the airport for your next trip.
